Welcome to Barrier Reef Corals

Established in 2018 in Bundaberg, Australia, Barrier Reef Corals has become a renowned wholesaler of top-quality corals, fish, and invertebrates. With industry experience dating back to 2012, we’re a family-owned and operated business deeply committed to sustainability and conservation. Our reputation stands on the pillars of exceptional products and an unwavering commitment to ecological harmony. Since inception, we have personally undertaken the responsibility of hand-collecting each item featured in our diverse inventory, which spans over 500 unique coral, fish, and invertebrate species. This meticulous approach ensures the distinctiveness and excellence of our offerings. Spanning across more than 10 countries, our global reach is empowered by meticulously organised shipment freight that safeguards the integrity of our products throughout their journey. As active participants in the Provision Reef program, we hold CITES certification that attests to our steadfast adherence to responsible practices. Beyond being mere suppliers, we are dedicated partners in marine care. Our commitment extends to providing comprehensive post-sales guidance, nurturing the well-being of our offerings long after they leave our hands. Fuelled by our passion and buoyed by integrity, Barrier Reef Corals has fostered its legacy as a guardian of the oceans. We’ve further fortified our efforts by expanding our quota holdings, ensuring a continued supply of corals. Our strategic geographical position, coupled with our extensive industry knowledge and quota holdings, empowers us to offer an unparalleled range of coral species. Embrace the allure of the ocean with Barrier Reef Corals, where our legacy of integrity and passion invites you to explore the mesmerising world of marine life.

We are strongly opposed to the use of illegal and destructive methods of coral mining and harvesting which are damaging to the reef and our industry by extension. By working exclusively with members of PROvision Reef, we support the sustainable harvest of our marine resources to allow current generations to enjoy them without denying future generations that same right.

Members of PROvision follow standards guided by the Fishery Ecological Risk Assessment to treat each species in keeping with their risk profiles from low to moderate. As members follow these protocols, they also collect samples for further research. This helps to gauge the effectiveness of current techniques, to fill gaps in knowledge of reef species and to guide future policies for better stewardship going forward.
